I'm back in the country. After graduating university a few years ago I got a job in Japan. My work contract is over now so I'm back in the States sitting on my useless degree until I can get work again.

I've got time now though, so I guess that's what brings me back to DA after 3 years.

I used to feel like a loser because people 10 years younger can color better than I can, lol. I still can't color for shit, but I don't feel so bad now. Last year, I was lucky enough to show a few of my type-as-texture pieces at an exhibition for foreign artists in central Japan. I guess I've grown toward more modern/graphic/pop art type of stuff. I like strong silhouettes and lines and playing with blocks of color, in a Coles Phillips sort of way. I will probably never learn how to color nicely. (And that's okay.)
